Vincent L. Burkett - Principal
Vince joined Vista Equity Partners in 2011. He sits on the investment committee and is on the boards of CDC Software, Mitratech and Vitera.
Prior to joining Vista, he was the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ventyx, (formerly a Vista Portfolio Company) which is a leading business solutions provider offering software, data and advisory services. Under his leadership, Ventyx grew into the largest and most successful independently owned software company for Energy and Utility Companies through an aggressive acquisition and integration strategy along with an intensive program for organic growth and operational improvement culminating in a strategic acquisition of Ventyx by Zurich,CH based ABB.
Prior to Ventyx, he was a Managing Director at Alvarez and Marsal Business Consulting and Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SourceNet Solutions (formerly a Vista Portfolio Company), a provider of comprehensive business process outsourcing solutions for finance and accounting operations.
Notable to Vince’s career is his focus on talent and executive development. This commitment has resulted in 10 former managers and executives of Ventyx and SourceNet now in leadership roles at other Vista Portfolio Companies.

Vince graduated with a BBA in Accounting (Magna Cum Laude) from Texas A&M University.
