The Austin Police Athletic League is designed to support at-risk youth by offering these children a safe place to gather and enjoy educational, social and athletic activities.

Child Advocates is a private non-profit organization that trains volunteers to become effective juvenile & family court appointed guardians ad litem.

Children’s Memorial Hospital was founded in 1882 as the first free-standing hospital in the country dedicated to the care of children and pediatrics.

Habitat for Humanity East Bay creates successful homeownership opportunities for families with limited incomes in Alameda & Contra Costa Counties by building sustainable housing and revitalizing neighborhoods.

The Manzano Mile, hosted by USA Olympian Leo Manzano, is an all-comers track meet consisting of individual mile and mile relay events.

NCSSM was the first public / residential high school for juniors and seniors that provided a specialized curriculum emphasizing science, mathematics and technology.
