- Develop and maintain successful ongoing relationships with hiring managers, providing high level of customer service in recruitment.
- Partner with Human Resources on requisition management including identifying staffing needs, coordinating approval process and compensation analysis.
- Develop strategic recruitment plans with hiring managers, providing expertise and strategic direction on candidate sourcing.
- Work closely with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, identifying and clarifying job specifications and requirements.
- Target, evaluate and recommend appropriate recruitment sources such as internal referrals, direct sourcing, internet recruitment, networking, and advertising.
- Manage job postings and resume evaluation.
- Build networking and industry contacts to hire qualified and talented individuals who embrace Apptio’s culture and values.
- Coordinate all aspects of the interview process - assess candidate qualifications via phone. screens and in-person interviews and coordinate feedback to hiring managers.
- Partner with HR/Recruiting Coordinator to ensure all candidates have a positive experience, regardless of outcome.
- Provide information to all potential candidates about company, benefits and career opportunity.
- Perform successful job offers and negotiations.
- Track, analyze and report recruitment data to hiring managers.
- Mentor hiring managers on appropriate and legal interviewing/hiring practices and procedures.
- 5+ years full lifecycle recruitment experience in Australia/Singapore (experience in Japan is a plus) and blend of corporate and agency staffing preferred;
- Proven experience sourcing across several functional groups and geographies.
- Professional and consultative business style; ability to be flexible and adaptable to different work styles.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional sourcing and interview skills.
- Proven expertise in managing entire recruitment lifecycle.
- Strong negotiation and candidate closing skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Experience and interest working in Human Resources is a big plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and iCIMs (or other Applicant Tracking Systems)
