Cvent is seeking a Vice President/Senior Director, Talent Acquisition to develop and deliver effective talent acquisition strategies. The successful candidate will lead our recruiting team of more than 20+ recruiters, and will effectively leverage internal and external resources to ensure they are properly allocated to support each critical business need.  This leader will be required to work out of our Tysons Corner, VA office. Local candidates only as no relocation assistance is offered.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that enhance the organization's visibility/reputation in key recruiting markets
  • Help position Cvent as an employer of choice among target candidates  
  • Lead and manage the workforce planning process and talent acquisition activities
  • Formulate and implement an employment branding strategy that effectively articulates Cvent’s employee value proposition in order to attract top talent 
  • Leverage social networking and other cutting edge recruiting technologies and tools to connect with a broad and diverse talent network
  • Partner with Cvent’s division leaders and executive team to provide strategy and support for talent acquisition solutions including: Employment Branding, Candidate Experience, Employee Referral Program, Intern Programs, College/University Relations, and onboarding
  • Work with business and human resource leaders to assess future skill requirements and develop appropriate talent recruiting strategies to aid the business in acquiring the requisite skills and capabilities
  • Develop and implement metrics on recruiting and retention including cost per hire, applicant flow, hiring manager, and new employee satisfaction
  • Ongoing valuation of existing hiring systems and processes to be assessed and adjusted to allow for support of our fluid work environment and new market locations

What You Need for this Position

  • A minimum of 15 years’ experience in internal corporate recruitment or talent acquisition
  • 5-7+ years of leadership/management experience managing a large, high-volume team of at least 10 recruiters
  • Demonstrated track record of success creating strategic talent programs that support aggressive business growth in a highly specialized and competitive market
  • Expertise in effectively managing full life cycle recruitment, including thorough pre-qualification screening, creative sourcing strategies, interviewing, negotiating and closing candidates across multiple levels and disciplines
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in leading a high performing talent acquisition team
  • Experience developing and managing an annual recruiting budget, metrics, and performance goals
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • International recruiting experience highly preferred
