Creatives Head (Graphic & Web Design)

Creative Services Head - India

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join Cvent's Award Winning Creative Team as the Creative Team Head for the Marketing department in India. This role reports to the India Marketing Leadership team as well as the Creative Director in the US-based headquarters who oversees the entire creative function for the corporate organization.

The responsibilities will be to manage the team of Graphic Designs and Web Designers for Corporate Marketing as a shared service for the organization. You would be required to understand the key initiatives as described by the Creative Director or other Marketing Leaders and provide the necessary skills and bandwidth for a team to meet expectations with the highest amount of efficiency and quality. You will need to monitor project intake and manage output of each creative resource on the team. This includes project level QA, reporting and measuring with a defined and consistent cadence.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, a proactive and effective communicator, a team player and preaches creative as a service. May come from a corporation or agency with a strong creative services background.

·        Oversee the function of the Graphic Design and Web Design Teams in the India office

·        Develop individual resources and optimize team to ensure efficient production for international expansion into new markets and maintain high quality production for existing international markets.

·        Own multiple initiatives as directed by US-based Creative Director and manage high quality production through India Creative Team.

·        Set goals for and conduct regular 1:1’s and reviews with all graphic designers to foster career and skills development

·        Manage project intake by receiving graphic design and web design projects from marketing stakeholders and assigning to appropriate creative resource.

·        Provide design level QA for each project before delivery to the stakeholder

·        Optimize team output by aligning team roles to initiatives and priorities as communicated by the Creative Director

·        Coordinate closely with the managers of other marketing teams to ensure alignment throughout the department.

·        Manage the growing staff of 10+ web designers and graphic designers.

·        Regular coordination with Creative Director in US-based headquarters, other US –based Creative Team leaders and team members.

·        Foster a collaborative and highly creative environment and create condition for team effectiveness across the different functional units.

Candidate Requirements:

·        10+ years of creative services experience

·        5+ years in a management role

·        Strong project management expertise

·        Well versed with web marketing technologies.

·        Experience leading web marketing efforts

·        Ability to advise on web marketing best practices

·        Knowledge of corporate events and event production

·        Understanding of the most recent design trends and branding work

·        Experience working with counterparts in the U.S. and/or UK

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills

·        Excellent presentation and persuasion skills

·        Familiarity with marketing organizations that include product marketing and demand generation teams

·        Familiarity of CMS systems and production workflows
