Software Trainer - Entry Level

Entry Level

Superion | Professional Services | High Point, NC

Summary:

Software Trainers conduct training on Superion software applications for customers and company employees. Services provided by Instructors include classroom instruction (at customer sites or at company headquarters), web-conferences, and presentations. Conduct end-user training for one or more of the core Superion applications.

The Software Consultant/Instructor completes initial training requirements and participates in ongoing professional development activities, including preparation to conduct maintenance training for one or more of the core Superion applications. Assist with customer data audits, go lives, or other implementation events, with direct supervision. 

Participate in projects related to department and company key initiatives (e.g., updating training materials, improving training processes and practices). 

Skills & Requirements

Experience:

  • 0-2 years of experience training adult learners (Computer software application training preferred) 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Education or similar discipline
  • Excellent teaching, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Public safety experience preferred 
  • Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time

 

Reports to our High Point, NC Office location.

As part of the requirements of this position, it is necessary that you have access to a major credit card that will support the required travel.  It will be your responsibility or use your own credit card. If at any time during your employment your credit card will not allow you to meet the required travel obligations, it may be grounds for dismissal.

Our clients include government public safety agencies and other government entities.   A contractual obligation we have with most of them is that employees working with them must meet their security requirements.  This often requires separate background checks by those agencies and providing them with documents that include personal identifiable information.  Please be aware that this is a contractual requirement that we must meet and represents a condition of employment for those employees affected
