As a DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for the beating heart of the product - its release cycle. From a single code change, to a container in the cloud, you will be responsible for keeping that beat stable and steady through automation, continuous deployment, and testing.
DevOps engineers are inherently multidisciplinary generalists. They must be fast learners who are creative, articulate, and able to collaborate with others. You will work in a collaborative environment with Development, QA, Support, Product Management, and other Statistica teams. Your primary job responsibilities will be:
- Build, deploy, install, update, configure, and maintain systems and services.
- You will work to automate and optimize processes and develop tools for automated deployment and monitoring of multiple environments.
- You will be the owner of the continuous deployment and integration pipeline that sustains high productivity levels and emphasizes defect prevention techniques.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
