Senior Reporting Analyst


Cvent | Client Services | Gurgaon, Haryana



Sr. Reporting Analyst is responsible for creation and delivery of Monthly/Quarterly business reviews and ad-hoc reports, supported by data analysis. Your outputs will be used by a leadership team of 100+ people, supporting customer care, relationship management and professional services across all products for Cvent. We are looking for a go-getter with a genuine ability to derive actionable insights from multiple data sources, love for mathematics and statistics, willingness to learn and grow.


US shift hours



  • Implement Tableau dashboards, scorecards, and reports to enhance understanding and usability
  • Analyze data to determine if there are outliers or data accuracy issues and work with related departments to make the corrections
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Deliver automated and ad-hoc reports per VP/SVP and Manager requirements
  • Carry out data deep dives and analysis per management requests



  • Provide recommendations on improving performance both on case-by-case basis and holistically;
  • Systemically identify data integrity issues
  • Discover issues with data accuracy, caused by system and human errors, provide recommendations for improvement
  • Identify and report issues in case data quality to improve data analysis efficiency
  • Provide requirements for reporting automation
  • Analyze and report on client survey data as needed.



  • 3+ years data analysis
  • Strong Data Analytics background
  • Experience with Tableau data visualization required
  • Knowledge of SQL & SSRS will be an added advantage
  • Experience using Salesforce.com Cases and Reports
  • MS Excel knowledge (Pivot tables, analytical functions, macros) & Powerpoint
  • Presentation skills & experience creating slide decks
  • Data analysis skills, familiarity with analytical techniques
  • Understanding of process documentation principles
  • Proven communication & writing skills: be able to tell the story behind the data
