Collections Specialist I

The qualified candidate will be responsible for the resolution of outstanding invoices and the management of delinquent accounts. The Collections team works directly with clients to negotiate remittance consistent with company practices as well as interacting with Executive management, Sales, Professional Services and Accounts Receivable. The position entails sustaining excellent customer relationships and taking ownership for difficult disagreements. In doing so, the candidate serves as the escalation point for customer payment disputes and makes recommendations for account adjustments. It is expected the applicant will be able to work independently as well as in support of their team.
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
- Being a self-starter, meticulous and adaptable in a high-pressure environment
- Familiarity with accounting controls & procedures
- Customer Service experience beneficial
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
