Billing Specialist I

Entry Level

Responsibilities:

  • Review contracts for billing terms and ensure generated sales orders match contract billing and revenue terms.
  • Issue customer invoices and credits.
  • Apply customer payments to customer invoices.
  • Reconcile posted customer payments in subledger to general ledger.
  • Reconcile customer accounts, providing analysis upon request.
  • Recognize revenue and cost, if applicable
  • Reconcile deferred and unbilled revenue accounts monthly.
Skills & Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting or accounts receivable.
  • Strong Excel skills and exposure to automated accounting systems.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills
  • NetSuite desirable
