The Senior Manager/Manager, Client Delivery (internally titled "Client Delivery Manager") plays a key role in partnering with Cvent’s Account Management, Support, and Professional Services teams to manage and optimize the end-to-end client experience. As an integral part of the company’s value proposition and growth strategy, this role drives client satisfaction and has overall responsibility for the successful implementation of the Cvent Conference platform. The Client Delivery Manager’s primary role is lead their team to deliver client satisfaction, and develop and maintain long-term relationships with key Enterprise-level clients. The Client Delivery Manager is a trusted advisor on industry trends and acts as an advocate of the clients’ perspective on Cvent’s software solutions.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Managing a team of project managers and business analysts to ensure successful delivery of all projects on the Cvent Conference platform
  • You will own the Services client relationship for a portfolio of named strategic accounts
  • Engage in the process of discovery with the client or partner to better understand their core business strategy and uncover ways to support their needs and exceed expectations
  • Utilize a consultative approach to uncover opportunities for new business within existing client organizations – including the development and presentation of alternative solutions and proposals
  • Work closely with Sales Account Management to ensure all SOWs are accurate and in place prior to beginning engagement and play an active role in the contract renewal process (this is not a Sales position, but requires working closely with our Sales team)
  • Onboarding clients to Cvent’s project management methodology and encouraging the client’s active participation to ensure the seamless execution of their events
  • Partner with and influencing other internal teams (e.g., Client Services, Development, and Product) in identifying and articulating upcoming client demands, as well as ensuring all projects meet or exceed client expectations
  • Coaching, mentoring and guiding your team members for continued career success

What You Need for this Position

  • Master's degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7-10 years of client services/professional services management experience managing direct reports
  • 5-7 years experience working with Enterprise accounts in a client services facing or ownership role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams
  • Ability to assess and lead teams to achieve strategic priorities
  • Significant experience with events and event management highly preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time to client offices and events
