HR Generalist

Aspira is looking for an individual interested in HR functions as part of a call center office environment. This is an entry level position, training included.  

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general human resources guidance and support to employees and managers
  • Work closely with employees and managers and make recommendations to support a positive work environment
  • Support managers and employees in the area of performance management/optimization 
  • Ensure legal compliance with global HR objectives
  • Assist with developing and implementing human resource processes, policies and procedures
  • Help drive process improvement in a fast- paced, dynamic environment
  • Assist HR Business Partner in resolving employee relations issues and provide guidance to managers and employees; escalate issues as needed within HR
  • Develop critical HR metrics and reports by regularly collecting and analyzing human resource data
  • Provide guidance on disciplinary issues and termination counseling; conduct exit interviews as needed
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with other areas of the organization
  • Evaluate and process workplace accommodation requests
  • Maintain employee data in the corporate HRIS, employee files,  and other HR information systems as needed; ensure data integrity is maintained
  • Regularly and responsibly work with sensitive and confidential material
  • Assist with special projects as needed 
Skills & Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 4 years' experience
  • Experience in a call center environment
  • Must have the ability to work with highly confidential information, effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Must possess proven excellent customer service skills and an ability to handle heavy volume with confidence and calmness
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills required with an overall positive, professional, and ethical disposition
  • Must be able to work with tight deadlines, possess a high level of self-motivation, and have excellent work ethic
  • Must have solid computer skills including MS tools and Excel
