Senior Director/Director, Global Marketing Programs

As the Senior Director/Director, Global Marketing Programs, you will own the full lifecycle (Ideate > Plan > Execute > Measure) of all campaigns and programs for Cvent’s Enterprise portfolio. Reporting to the VP of Enterprise Marketing you will oversee the strategic planning for campaigns, programs and events for the Americas, Europe and APAC. You’ll lead a team of program specialists for awareness, demand generation and sales enablement designed for account-based marketing within industry verticals. You’ll also leverage shared services teams for events, creative and web to execute all programs. You will align with regional marketing teams for consistent and efficient planning and execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams from Product, Portfolio Marketing, Sales and Management to guide and influence program development and roll-out. You’ll work with marketing operations and analytics teams to understand program performance and continuously improve our campaigns and programs. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role on a global stage.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the strategic input process to formulate cohesive global campaigns and program plans across regional marketing teams
  • Collaborate with Portfolio and Product Marketing on content for all programs
  • Partner with marketing operations Center of Excellence teams to ensure usage of campaign production-related tools for effective execution and measurement
  • Create and maintain Campaign/Program calendar and playbooks that clearly outline the strategy, objectives, audience, messaging, campaign offers and themes. Become an advisor and ambassador that supports campaign framework (based on SiriusDecisions framework)
  • Collaborate with event planning team to execute on industry-leading events, both hosted and sponsored
  • Utilize project management tools and resources and create project plans to ensure cross-functional teams are aligned to campaign milestones and produce regular status reports to inform broader teams
  • Work with the regional marketing leaders and core team stakeholders to ensure campaign and program consistency across platforms and channels
  • Partner with Marketing Operations to track the global performance of marketing programs and establish metrics to measure growth. Work closely with the regional marketing leaders as well as finance to forecast, track and report on the budget.

What You Need for this Position

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years’ experience as a B2B marketer developing regional and global programs in technology companies. ABM experience required
  • Experience using and communicating performance metrics
  • Experience leading teams including manager-level direct reports
  • Experience with SiriusDecisions (or similar) frameworks for program and campaign design

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience driving process and tool improvements in operational scale and productivity
  • Ability to manage large and diverse budgets between groups and navigating a cross-functional organization
  • Ability to ensure consistency through templates and operationalize projects with clear communication and timeliness
  • Ability to take initiative, adapt quickly to changing priorities and work with a high sense of urgency and high attention to detail
  • Ability to build and grow relationships across diverse audiences including executive stakeholders and drive cross-team partnerships and initiatives
