Inside Sales Specialist

Summary

The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for prospecting of new customers along with developing and maintaining excellent relationships with existing clients in an assigned territory in order to increase customer satisfaction, retention, reference ability, and revenue.  Works to understand current customer’s short-term and long -term strategic plans. Provides sales quotes for new solutions as well as sustaining and renewing client contracts.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Cold-calling potential customers via phone and email
  • Building relationships with prospects and actively engaged in discovery of needs and requirements for those prospects
  • Required to maintain activity in Salesforce.com for on demand reporting and forecasting
  • Responsible for continuous lead development, pipeline development & driving company offerings deep into existing customer accounts
  • Meet or exceed measurement standards, quota and goals as assigned by management
Skills & Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university
  • 0-2 years of experience working in inside sales or customer service
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • Working knowledge of Windows PC applications and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Previous experience with Salesforce.com a plus
  • Demonstrated judgment, analytical, problem solving and time management skills
  • Must work well independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
  • Energetic, upbeat, tenacious team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
