Business Development Executive

Entry Level

The Business Development Executive is responsible for generating new business by following up on inbound marketing leads, and outbound account research and prospecting.  BDE will be accountable for qualifying prospect needs, positioning appropriate TIBCO products and services, and developing strong prospect interest via phone and online contact. 
Skills & Requirements

  • Meeting, and exceeding where possible, monthly, quarterly and annual quota of qualified opportunities 
  • Work closely with Inside and Field Sales Representatives on territory, account, and contact strategy to meet sales goals.   
  • Provide prompt phone/email follow up to specific Account Based Marketing Leads and properly document and track results in salesforce.com 
  • Effectively forecast quarterly results 
  • Maintain a minimum level of activity (50-60 activities/day) 
  • Build and maintain knowledge base to become an expert on TIBCO products and services 
  • Utilize CRM to track all pertinent information related to the opportunity and effectively manage territory.
