Manager, Billing Operations

The Manager, Billing Operations is responsible for managing accurate, timely completion and submission of all billing and accounts receivable functions of the organization covering multiple locations. The manager will work closely with the sales and finance departments and must be able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.    

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the billings team in multiple locations
  • Manage the finance review and approval of sales opportunities in SFDC
  • Generate orders and invoices in NetSuite 
  • Assist the daily activities and the career development of team members, including hiring, coaching, reviewing work, establishing goals and performance management of team members
  • Edit and update the SFDC customer database and assist with account support
  • Provide shipping and product fulfillment for ftp/license key and physically delivered software 
  • Research customer billing inquiries and issues raised related to their accounts
  • Provide weekly reports on orders to management
  • Maintain, perform and update internal control procedures
  • Ensure policies and processes are well documented, applied consistently and broadly understood
  • Support quarterly review and annual audit, as requested
Skills & Requirements

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of progressive experience leading teams and knowledge of the order-to-cash process
  • Highly skilled in use of Excel
  • Previous experience with SFDC and NetSuite is a plus
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, detailed-oriented
  • Must have good time management skills; ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop teams in multiple locations and work cross functionally
  • Dynamic decision-making and impeccable judgment
