Finance Reporting Manager

CentralSquare Technologies has been experiencing fast growth. The Reporting Manager will work with the finance team and cross functionally to improve the financial reporting processes to deliver timely, accurate and actionable reporting to business leaders.  The role will primarily be responsible for reporting and systems enhancements with a key focus on process improvement to support the growth of the business.  Candidates should consider themselves a “Reporting Guru” that has a multi-faceted and innovative approach to developing reporting packages that meet and exceed management requirements.


  • Assess and evaluate current reporting infrastructure and provide recommendations for system and process improvements enabling speed and accuracy in current and future reporting
  • Lead the reporting function by delivering all monthly, quarterly and annual reporting needs primarily through expertise in Excel and PowerPoint as well as advanced methodologies of reporting utilizing databases and BI tools such as Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau
  • Act as quality assurance for all reporting utilizing various resources to ensure error-free work is submitted to Senior Management
  • Work with large amounts of dispersed data across various sources to aggregate, analyze and produce highly reliable and accurate data feeds for reporting
  • Provide pro-active suggestions on future reporting needs by anticipating the needs of the growing business
  • Engage with finance team and business leaders to understand business dynamics and performance to drive narratives related to variance analyses
  • Coordinate with external partners to ensure one set of numbers are presented accurately cross-functionally
  • Build and/or coordinate with data team, standard reporting dashboard and performance KPIs
  • Conduct System and Database Audits
  • Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members
Skills & Requirements


·       Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or technical degree

·       5+ years of experience enterprise financial reporting

·       Highly proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills required – Expert level

·       Able to manage multiple, competing priorities while maintaining extremely high level of data accuracy while meeting deadlines

·       Team player and flexible/proactive attitude

·       Highly detailed oriented

·       Strong oral and written communication skills

·       Must be a proactive problem solver that is comfortable engaging with business partners of all levels


·       Experience with Adaptive

·       Experience and proven ability to use advanced reporting tools such as Tableau or MS PowerBI

·       Proficiency utilizing databases to compile data utilized for reporting
