Job Description

PowerSchool, the nation's leading student information system provider to public, charter and independent K-12 schools, seeks motivated candidates to fill our Junior Solution Specialist role – a unique position wherein you are required to combine technical skills, client relations skills, and project management skills to provide assistance to our multi-office Registration team and the clients we serve.

ABOUT THE POSITION
The core day-to-day job responsibilities of the Junior Solution Specialist include…

  • Use proprietary tools and software to aid in configuring solutions
  • Participating in customer outreach and feedback collection
  • Assist in onboarding and scheduling Implementation projects
  • Reviewing online forms for quality assurance
  • Any other initiative assigned to aid in the deployment of our Registration solutions
  • Build client relationships as the first point of client contact for Private/Independent customers
  • Meet with and provide recommendations to clients to ensure project success
  • Assist with quality assurance checks of customer solutions
  • Provide assistance to Online Solution Specialist/Senior Online Solution Specialist with configuration task through a ticket system

Successful Junior Solution Specialist…

  • Exhibit polished communication skills, verbal and written, and a professional demeanor.
  • Are organized and take a collaborative approach to problem solving.
  • Have a general interest in online technology and how it’s shaping the way all business operates.
  • Take pride in their work, possess strong analytical skills, and innately enjoy problem solving.
  • Showcase an ability to meet deadlines, manage workload independently, and execute under pressure.
  • Exhibit an ability to communicate with those of broad ranging technical experience.

Requirements include…

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Interest in technology
  • Willingness/ability to learn new software quickly
  • Positive and cooperative attitude
  • Polished communication skills, verbal and written, and a professional demeanor
  • Willingness to work in shifts as prescribed by the manager
