Project Manager - Product Ops Mgr

The Product Operations Manager will build and own the internal processes powering DealerSocket product initiatives, across all departments and offices. This role focuses on developing, establishing, and refining operational controls, administrative procedures and functional systems to ensure high-quality product delivery and services for internal stakeholders.  The Product Operations Manager will assist in the management of Salesforce on behalf of the product department, including adding and updating products, pricing and reporting.




  • Responsible for building processes and operational systems that foster growth, improve productivity, and reduce costs across the Product Department
  • Work with the Sales Operations team to enable seamless usage of Salesforce within the sales organization by creating and managing products, pricing, quoting and reporting within the system
  • Create test cases and identify solutions for operational challenges with Salesforce, both in the product department and cross departmentally
  • Work cross functionally with other departments to identity productivity, knowledge and information gaps while designing fixes based on process and personnel improvement
  • Work with Product Readiness to assist in the successful launch of new products and enhancements
  • Collaborate with the technical documentation team on successful distribution of product documentation and videos to key stakeholders across multiple departments
  • Work directly with the Director of Product Operations and Chief Product Officer to manage and measure multiple projects that drive departmental growth while holding internal personnel accountable for project timelines and deliverables
  • Responsible for a consistent review of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) program, leading cross functional teams to successful phase exits
  • Drive success with ongoing process review of various projects including Product Councils, Pricing Councils, Customer Advisory Boards, Feature Request Review (POA), and internal product training and documentation
  • Drive initiatives with the management team that contribute to long-term operational excellence in support of the organization's mission
  • Identify the scope, impact, and resources needed with ad-hoc projects assigned by the Director of Product Operations while successfully meeting all outlined timelines and expectations
Skills & Requirements




  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent



  • 4+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Internal Operations, and/or Project Management roles
  • Understanding of operational toolsets, including Salesforce, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Confluence
  • Experience in a technical product software environment a plus

Required Skills: 

  • Experience in corporate operations that includes strategy, data analysis, communication of analytical results and operational reporting to executive stakeholders
  • Excellent program/project management skills including a track record of influencing outcomes and optimizing schedules
  • Demonstrated planning, analytical and organization skills with an ability to manage competing demands
  • Ability to influence cross functional team members and higher level management through superior communication
  • Exceptional verbal, written and time management skills
