Marketing Automation Specialist

Jamf is looking for an energetic and driven self-starter with a high level of initiative to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company. As a Marketing Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day, hands-on execution of Jamf’s marketing automation platform, Marketo. In this role, you will support automation efforts for Jamf’s email and digital strategies by creating programs for advertising, emails and campaigns, report and make recommendations to optimize digital plans and own lead routing and operational troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of marketing operations, Marketo and Salesforce and apply them in collaboration with our marketing automation team.  

 

Responsibilities:

  •  Performs day-to-day campaign creation for advertising and email campaigns
  •  Evaluates new marketing technologies to improve and optimize marketing performance
  •  Standardizes, cleanses and imports leads from pipeline generation activities into Marketo
  •  Ensures leads from pipeline generation activities are correctly and efficiently routed to Marketo, Salesforce and distributed to appropriate teams internally 
  •  Assists with lead scoring and lead flow best practices
  •  Performs ongoing database maintenance to ensure legal compliance with international opt-in laws and regulation
  •  Collaborates with Marketing Analyst to help compile, track and analyze pipeline generation activities and recommends adjustments as needed
  •  Serves as owner and liaison between Marketing and Sales Operations to initiate Salesforce requests and reporting 
  •  Coordinates with website team to initiate requests on behalf of jamf.com web properties 
  •  Manages marketing automation projects, including removal of Marketo partition between two products and implementation of website subscription center 
  •  Oversees proper utilization of RingLead lead management tool, Outreach sales enablement tool and other tools as needed
  •  Assists email automation team with quality assurance and A/B testing on emails and campaigns to maximize the effectiveness of tools and processes 
  •  Organizes and manages UTM campaign tracking within web analytics tool
  •  Creates project plans in project management tool to coordinate resources, deliverables and deadlines
  •  Prepares and delivers presentations for sales and marketing teams, assists with ongoing training and implementation of new marketing processes 
  •  Assists email automation team with quality assurance and A/B testing on emails and campaigns to maximize the effectiveness of tools and processes 
  •  Coordinates with third-party vendors, serving as a liaison to establish advertising quotes, manage expectations and procure deliverables
  •  Assists with data analysis projects as needed
  •  Maintains awareness of industry trends, best practices, and technologies; utilizes findings to implement improvements to emails and advertising performance 
  •  Manages multiple projects with competing timelines and ability to proactively manage up 
  •  Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and purpose of the organization

Skills & Requirements

  • Experience working in a high tech, fast-paced, B2B environment (Preferred)
  •  Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a related marketing role (Required)
  •  Experience working with Marketo or a related marketing automation platform (1 year Required, 3+ years Preferred) 
  •  Experience working with Salesforce CRM tool (2+ years Preferred)
  •  Marketo Certified Expert or similar certification (Preferred)
  •  Working knowledge of Apple platform a plus
  •  Excellent time and project management with exceptional attention to detail
  •  Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail 
  •  Ability to convey complex concepts to across all audiences
  •  Self-directed with the ability to take initiative and achieve results
  •  Strong organizational and time-management skills with a passion for detail and execution
