Main Purpose of the Job

To provide optimal value to the business by:

  • Demonstrating a good technical skill set or ability to learn quickly and efficiently to deliver in a technical role
  • Deliver work to agreed scope, milestones and deadlines, and supporting a robust change management process to avoid unnecessary scope creep
  • Ensure accuracy and diligence in all tasks undertaken, taking pride in the successful completion of work and ensuring the customers’ needs are at the fore at all times
  • Be accountable for allocated tasks to ensure projects and support cases are completed successfully

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work using your own initiative to configure, test and deploy software to the specification of the project in and accurate and efficient manner to specific deadlines
  • Maintain high standards of delivery to our customer base when deploying new functionality and completing setup tasks
  • Ensure clear communications both internally and externally where appropriate relating to completed tasks
  • Identify, build, improve and maintain good client relationships
  • Contribute to Best Practice sharing and help build a customer of Coninuous Improvement
  • Support the business in retention of clients and customer satisfaction, as well as supporting the Sales team if pre-sales scenarios
  • Identify, highlight, and manage risk proactively
  • Test all software deployed as part of the role and report findings to the Projects team following completion of installation tasks, including implementing remedial activities
  • Aid with the adoption of strategies for the improvement of implementation process, services, and team standards
  • Help identify additional products and services required by clients
  • Take accountability for tasks allocated for completion and strive for customer satisfaction during all activities
  • Proactively learn new areas of available software, creating appropriate knowledgebase documents, and coaching peers to ensure efficient knowledge transfer and flexibility of deployment across the team

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will bring with them/be:

  • The ability to work within a fast-paced business with demanding customers, whilst retaining a focus on excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Be happy to work independently on allocated tasks, delivering to specific deadlines on agreed tasks, ensuring accuracy and diligence is taken at all times, with accountability for successful completion of work
  • Be comfortable operating at a technical level on complex tasks, with a mind-set that ensures required skills and knowledge are learned in scenarios that are new
  • Have an aptitude and ability to pick up both technical and non-technical tasks, and apply a logical approach to problem solving
  • Have a background in / experience of software development or similar scripting languages

 Knowledge and Experience

Essential Skills:

  • Experience of Document Management and/or OCR solutions 
  • Experience working within a fast paced, customer focused environment
  • Experience adhering to customer SLAs and/or project deadlines, budgets and milestones
  • Experience of coding and working with scripting languages to tailor solutions to a client's needs
  • Knowledge of database technologies such as SQL Server and be comfortable writing, testing, and executing SQL queries
  • Knowledge of working hosted systems and solutions
  • Knowledge of software implementation, installation, issues resolution and configuration
