As a Solution Consultant, you are responsible for presenting product offerings and architecture in the best light to prospects and customers. You will be an integral part of the sales process, addressing technical questions and concerns to ensure a successful sales cycle.  To accomplish this, the Solution Consultant must possess a natural intellectual curiosity and the strong desire to leverage their technical and sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value.

Skills & Requirements

  • Understand the customer need and establish TIBCO’s product as the best solution that addresses that need
  • Build and present customized demos
  • Present TIBCO’s technology infrastructure, including demonstrating deep familiarity with companies’ hardware, software, networking and security stack
  • Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management
  • Respond effectively to RFPs
  • Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certification to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position
  • Make technical presentations regarding all aspects of TIBCO’s products
  • Assist Sales Executives in assessing potential application of TIBCO’s products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications
  • Provide follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific applications to service personnel, sales representatives, and customer’s employees
