Talent Development Project Coordinator

The Project Specialist is responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities of varying scope and complexities for the Talent Development team. A major objective of this role is to support the Talent Development Manager through project planning and coordination to meet commitments on time and within resource limitations. This position is responsible for ensuring Talent Development projects are successful and receive positive feedback by participants, partners and stakeholders across the organization. This position is critical to our organization as it promotes the development of our most important asset … our talent! Duties and responsibilities

  • Manage Talent Development projects through project planning and coordination with both Manager and Talent Leadership Team to meet commitments on time and within resource limitations, determine requirements, establish priorities and monitor progress of team members
  • Liaison within the Talent organization to assist with employee related programs such as Mentorship, Career Development, and Intern Programs
  • Coordinate with training leads across the organization to ensure all programs are achieving maximum business results
  • Meets regularly with project leaders, external vendors and org leaders as necessary for status updates; addresses any actual or potential problems and communicates decisions regarding adjustments that impact Talent initiatives
  • As directed, independently creates ad-hoc reports or sections of progress reports based on Talent Development systems data
  • Works with other staff and consultants in the development and delivery of project activities
  • There may be a need to assist in analyzing training needs, developing content and delivering Talent Development training/initiatives to internal team members using multiple modalities for training deployment including Zoom meetings
  • Post-mortem project analysis and providing direct feedback to team members, including preparation and deployment of internal communications
  • Serves as a liaison between Talent and the various org leaders regarding project coordination functions, consulting with users and shared services staff as appropriate
  • Maintain training content on Corporate Learning Management System (LMS) and internal training sites as needed
Skills & Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Learning and Development, Instructional Design, Adult Education or another related field
  • Proficient at handling multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel capabilities
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Coordinates and oversees multi-disciplinary team meetings
  • Top notch facilitation skills, with the ability to influence, persuade and motivate
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to adjust to changing priorities in a fast-growth, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation skills) and business acumen
  • The ability to learn on the fly and quickly refocus in response to changing priorities
  • The ability to produce exceptional written communications and PowerPoint presentations
  • The ability to assist with analysis of participant training evaluations and technical assistance logs as needed

  • Project/Program Management preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional/corporate training experience
  • Experience in Program Management & tracking results of multiple projects
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with a sense of priority and high responsiveness
  • Top notch facilitation skills, with the ability to influence, persuade and motivate
  •  Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a high performing, team-oriented environment.
