Job Description

Following our recent launch in the UK, this is an integral role within our small but ambitious UK team, helping to drive new client relationships and commercial growth for our omnichannel shopper panel.

The ideal candidate will be a charismatic and high performing business developer with a proven track-record of client development / revenue growth within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. This individual will also have existing network of contacts with large international brands and agencies in the UK and will be able to' hit the ground running.

Skills & Requirements

  • New business hunter with B2B sales experience, and particular emphasis on building new relationships and opening accounts
  • Developing leads, opportunities and relationships via in-person meetings, conferences & events, cold calling, LinkedIn etc.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a timely manner, including consecutively exceeding past sales targets
  • Deep understanding of multiple facets of retailer, agency and consumer products with prior experience selling into marketing, shopper or consumer insights
  • Deep understanding of the sales process with the ability to engage senior level executives in strategic meetings to ensure top down alignment regarding strategy and objectives
  • Skilled at building and managing customer relationships, including stakeholder management
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Understanding of shopper insights area and/or household panel data (Kantar, Nielsen, NPD, Dunnhumby, IRI and GfK) is a plus
  • Microsoft Office expertise (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
Skills & Requirements

 Experience Required 

  • Degree educated (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with stakeholders at all levels
  • Min. of 3 years previous experience of selling data or SaaS solutions to FMCG’s, agencies and retailers across Brand Marketing, Market Research, Category Management, and/or Shopper & Consumer Insights functions
  • Working knowledge of Kantar, Nielsen, NPD, Dunnhumby, IRI or other Insights solution providers is a plus
  • Self-motivation and an appetite to progress career are a must
  • Ability to think creatively when creating propositions for clients
  • Functional knowledge of sales CRM (e.g. Salesforce.com) and its use during the sales cycle.
