Marketing Analyst

He/ she has overall responsibility for marketing analytics, predictive modeling, and the application of analytic findings to strategy. This position oversees the interface with hosted marketing database solutions, developing reporting and modeling frameworks, interpreting results and managing analytic deliverables. As the lead for the Marketing Analytics Team, this role drives the creation of fact-based analysis of future opportunities and historical performance. The Marketing Analytics team supports the promotional efforts of PowerSchool by providing information on historical results, executive reports, ad hoc analyses as needed.

Define strategic and tactical performance reporting standards for marketing and sales lead campaigns
Automate and streamline the production of reports so that low-value activities require the absolute minimum of people-time
Mentor, teach and coach Analytics team members in the skills, processes and knowledge needed to execute their jobs at a successful level of competence, and steadily increases these levels of competence over time
Sets standards for data quality, validation and house holding rules
Lead the process for audience segmentation and targeting, including test and learn strategies and next best offer campaigns
Identification of marketing capability needs vis-à-vis the Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud platforms 
Management of Salesforce reporting capabilities related to lead generation, lead distribution, campaign management and attribution 
Analysis of Salesforce campaign efforts to determine opportunities, shortcomings and ideas for optimization
Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization

Qualifications include:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, marketing or economics or equivalent, relevant experience. MBA preferred. 
5 years' experience in management of analytics processes and capabilities for the marketing function within a medium to large corporate enterprise, with emphasis on team leadership, developing business relationships with internal stakeholders, hitting deadlines, coordinating the roles of multiple internal and external contributors towards complex and ongoing projects. 
3 years' experience working in direct marketing campaign design, execution and tracking in the consumer and/or business marketing domain with emphasis on email and web media vehicles. 
3+ year managing direct reports
Capable of working in a corporate setting or remotely
Salesforce/CRM experience required
Power Query, Tableau, Microsoft BI and other visualization platform experience required 
Marketing Automation (i.e. Marketo) experience a plus
Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills and business judgement
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
Knowledge of SQL
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge of R/SAS/SPSS, Python or other advanced analytic platforms desirable
