Assistant Manager- Talent Acquitisition (Bulk/ Frontline hiring)

 

We are looking for an achiever whose responsibility will be to manage our Non-Tech Talent Acquisition/Recruitment function. The role is a people manager role that's based out of our Gurgaon office and will be accountable and responsible for all aspects of talent acquisition across service lines, for instance, Client Services. The role requires hands-on experience, leadership skills, operations maturity, the ability to manage teams, stakeholders and executives. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Recruitment (Non-Tech).


Our ideal candidate would need to have relevant and hands-on experience of 9-11 years, including at least 4-5 years at a Assistant Manager level.

The role is a position of elevated responsibility, which is primarily responsible for recruitment and talent acquisition and the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the full life cycle of hiring and delivering on the hiring numbers allocated to them. Work Hours: 12:00 pm IST- 9:00 pm IST 

Position Duties: 
 

  • End to end recruiting ownership & accountability for frontline/ lateral  across Non-tech departments at Cvent.
  • Designs develop and maintain the recruitment process in the organization (including its description, recruitment measurement definitions, regular measurement reporting, taking proper actions to close gaps)
  • Drives, the recruiting team to achieve targets
  • Experience in the market and competitive mapping
  • Ability to advise the recruitment team and business on recruitment, channel and branding best practices
  • Designs the selection matrix for choosing the optimum recruitment channel and recruitment source
  • Explores the market best practices in the recruitment and staffing and implement appropriate best practices in the organization
  • Plan and coordinate mass recruiting events, for instance, campus hiring, recruitment drives, etc.
  • Builds a quality relationship with the internal customers and external recruitment agencies
  • Monitors and constantly reduces the costs of the recruitment process
  • Sets the social media communication strategy for different job profiles and functions in the organization
  • Conducts job interviews for the managerial job positions (or key jobs in the organization)
  • Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and cost-per-hire)
  • Implement new sourcing methods (e.g. social recruiting and Boolean searches)
  • Review recruitment software and suggest the best option for company needs
  • Research and choose job advertising options
  • Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques
  • Recommend ways to improve our employer brand
  • Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs
  • Participate in job fairs, campus & career events
  • Build professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners

Candidate Requirements: 

  • Bachelor- s/Master's Degree and professional experience in a similar industry is essential 
  • Overall 9- 11 years experience and 4-5 years of Manager/Assistant Manager experience, in a leadership role from established multinational corporations 
  • Good knowledge of candidates sourcing methods
  • Experience using online recruiting sources for job postings and resume sourcing (Monster, Naukri, LinkedIn, other social and nonsocial channels) 
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills 
  • Excellent understanding of recruitment processes
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Understanding of Recruitment Marketing software is a plus
  • Good understanding of Employer Branding strategies
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills 
  • Good interpersonal, presentation and interaction skills
