DevOps Engineer

Our DevOps team is responsible for supporting multiple products and development teams in automating infrastructure, build pipelines, deployment, and production support.   As a DevOps Engineer, you will be involved in architecting, automating, and deploying Kibo’s products in AWS using CI/CD automation technologies. 


Responsibilities include installation, configuration and administration of:

  • Maintaining mission critical day-to-day operations of the production processing platform and internal company resources including but not limited to:
  • Windows and Linux servers
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes
  • Powershell, Python, Bash and Ruby scripting
  • IIS, Apache and Tomcat
  • Application code deployment to Dev, Staging, Production environments
  • Amazon Web Services (EC2, EKS, VPC, WAF, RDS, etc..)
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and DNS servers
  • Backup and Monitoring Servers
  • VPN
  • Routers
  • Configuration management
  • Continuous build and integration environments
  • General network administration and troubleshooting
  • System administration automation, scripting and documentation
  • Backup, High Availability and Disaster Recovery principles
  • System, Application and Network monitoring
  • Occasional after-hours maintenance
Skills & Requirements


  • Bachelor’s in Information Technology or similar field
  • 2+ years of DevOps experience
  • Extensive UNIX system administration experience
  • Python (or similar scripting language) experience
  • Some relational database administration and SQL knowledge
  • Experience with configuration and automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Puppet and Chef
  • Knowledge of software development tools, operating systems, virtual and physical infrastructure, network topologies, and security models
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Availability to be on call 24x7 under reasonable circumstances and schedule
