Sales Analyst

The Sales Analyst I directly contributes to the success of the department by provide leaders with the visibility, clarity, and understanding of relevant Sales data. Candidate must be highly analytical to organize data sets available as well as the ability to convey concepts through innovative techniques and communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Generate and organize a set of standard operational reporting services, metrics, leading and lagging indicators, and dashboards using excel, Salesforce.com, and business insight tools used by the organization
  • Run various statistical analysis on the data collected from different sources to derive business insights and evaluate business risks.
  • Interact with sales reps, sales leadership, and others to provide understanding of the data outputs Manage core reporting for tracking and forecasting sales quota attainment
  • Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and purpose of the organization

Skills & Requirements

EXPERIENCE

  •  2+ Years experience in developing and implementing standard reports and data management to a variety of audiences across functional areas (Required)
  •  2+ Years experience in statistical business analysis, preferably with experience working in the software industry (Preferred)
  • Proven track record with consistent high performance in data analysis and financial/sales presentations (Required)
  • Use of relational databases, systems, applications and tools (Required)  
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Excellent Organizational Skills
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Apple Platform Close understanding of the sales process and challenges of reps who are selling in it
  • Knowledge of relational databases (Salesforce.com – reports and dashboards)
  • Ability to manage multiple data analysis requests at once
  • Ability to perform regression, forecasting, and other data modeling scenarios
  • Expert knowledge of SQL, Excel, Salesforce.com, Wave Analytics or like Business Intelligence tools

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Required)
  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
