Job Description:  Senior Associate/ ATL Event Cloud Sales Training

Position will report to:  Megan Bernys

As a member of the Cvent Sales Academy team, you will be responsible for managing and delivery of sales training programs across the Event Cloud sales teams in our Middle East and APAC offices.  This training will include onboarding for India based new employees, continuous learning for the SDR organization, and coordination of global sales training programs across the ME and APAC offices. You will be responsible for executing on a regional sales training plan, identifying improvement areas/opportunities to drive sales performance and operational efficiencies.

  1. Facilitate onboarding of new sales professionals in the India office.
  2. Coordinate and/or facilitate global sales training continuous learning and reinforcement programs for sales professionals across the Middle East and APAC regions.
  3. Coordinate with regional sales management to identify sales best practice and gap areas and partner to provide training solutions.
  4. Apply project management skills across all aspects of sales training programs including alignment with business objectives, marketing and communications, planning and execution, and measurement
  5. Partner with sales operations teams to implement sales tools aligned to various stages of the sales cycle.
  6. Provide 1/1 coaching to new hires to supplement core sales training curriculum.
  7. Contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of global sales training curriculum including onboarding, role based training, and career development.
  8. Collaborate with sales management for ongoing training needs and feedback on existing programs
  9. Partner with the India Learning and Development team to leverage existing training programs and adapt for the sales team.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum  1.5 years sales experience with demonstrated success in a SDR, direct sales, or sales management role
  • Preferred experience in Software as a service sales (SaaS) environment
  • Experience in sales training, facilitation, mentoring
  • Position located in Gurgaon, India
  • This position requires travel to other Middle East and APAC offices
  • Excellent communication skills – presenting, listening, writing, and differences related to other cultures
  • Preferred experience in application of various sales techniques and methodologies, and sales enablement tools
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Preferred experience in the meetings and events industry
  • Effective and collaborative team player, motivated by a high-performance global sales environment
