Key Account Manager

As part of our continued growth and commitment to our clients we have an immediate opening for a strategic Account Manager to service our top 100 North American clients. The Account Manager is responsible for representing RDC and engaging with our existing clients. This is a high-touch, rapport-building position that requires strong communication skills (both verbal and written), as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion to give our clients the personal attention required. Account Managers need to understand critical use cases for the RDC technology as well as develop an understanding of typical use cases related to the solution. Account Managers will be responsible for revenue retention and license expansion / revenue growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Exceed assigned quotas and other performance objectives
  • Provide account leadership and direction in the post-sales process
  • Partner with Customer Success to drive implementations and high levels of adoption within customer accounts to ensure renewal and upsell potential
  • Undertake a strategic account planning approach to assigned customer portfolio; author a plan for retaining and growing customer relationships year over year; ensure internal alignment on account plans by partnering with key stakeholders to execute on the identified success criteria and playbooks as well as associated tasks required to achieve goals
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of client satisfaction to ensure client realizes full value from their investments with RDC
  • Partner with Enterprise Sales Executives to ensure new clients are on-boarded effectively, and operational issues/concerns of the customer are addressed promptly
  • Maintain strong product knowledge for training, usage and client satisfaction
  • Manage existing accounts and maintain relationships with decision makers at the executive and management levels
  • Reach out proactively to assigned accounts to build relationships with key decision makers to connect our customers' business needs /goals with core RDC product and services
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and internal teams; share customer feedback with product and R&D teams to make our product set the very best
  • Monitor the customer’s business by following industry news, networking and maintaining good communication with users
  • Monitor and analyze customer’s usage of our product
  • Present utilization information to clients with recommendations to optimize their results
  • Identify and track opportunities and risks within assigned customer base
  • Manage and track customer data in SF, including client contacts, org. charts, and contacts (i.e., master service agreement and SOWs)
  • May partner with marketing on various campaigns and targeted customer events
  • Coordinate customer-facing initiatives with other RDC teams (i.e., connect marketing with users for testimonials, connect product development with beta testers, etc.)

Skills & Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • 5-7 years of sales or account management experience in SaaS
  • Experience in AML / KYC industry a plus
  • Undergraduate degree BS/BA degree
  • Experience using a CRM (ideally Salesforce) to facilitate pipelining and forecasting
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and online meeting software
  • Prior experience assisting with software product demonstrations and sales presentations helpful
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
