Project Coordinator

Summary:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the activities needed for the successful and timely completion of small to medium sized software/technology projects.   Additionally, the Project Coordinator will provide support to other members of the Project Management Team as defined by the Manager – Project Office.  Primary responsibility will be to interface with other internal implementation teams to coordinate t-minus schedule, ensure adherence to change control process, communicate milestone status, and PMO process and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of Small to Medium Sized Projects   
  • Under the guidance of others in the department, will be responsible for coordinating the activities and tasks involved in the completion of small to medium sized projects. 
  • Following up with company resources on status of project related tasks
  • Interfacing with clients
  • Resolving issues
  • Contract management
  • Project Documentation and Status Reporting
  • Project Management Team Support
  • Tracking, documenting and reporting on the progress of work along project timelines to facilitate the timely implementation of the projects.
  • Assist members of the project management team with day to day project activities
  • Prepare reports and presentations
  • Attend meetings and write meeting minutes
  • Assist in expediting various tasks and activities associated with projects
  • Post reports and documentation to SharePoint
  • Ensuring project documentation templates are current

 

Requirements:

  • An Extensive Background will be performed periodically throughout employment
  • Bachelor's degree or greater related to Business Administration, Communications or Technology
  • 0-2 years of experience working as part of a Project Management team
  • Skilled in the use of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Project and SharePoint
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent organizational, planning/scheduling and time management skills
  • Comfortable interfacing all levels of the organization as well as with clients
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
