Sales Executive- Social Table 

Social Tables, now a Cvent company, award winning hospitality platform creates successful face-to-face events. The company’s innovative event sales, event services, and group distribution platforms have helped over 250,000 planners and 5,000 hotel & venue professionals execute 4.5 million events. 

We are looking for Senior/Sales Executives that love finding new customers in surprising places. The role entails identifying business development opportunities at property level in addition to some corporate Director and VP level relationships with our hotel chains and management company partners across AMEA region. You will carry a new-booked business quota. The goal: to grow overall partnerships and increase Social Tables’ market share of clients' organizational spend.

What you will be doing

  • Develop current relationships and identify new contacts in an effort to meet and exceed individual and department Social Table revenue expectations
  • Put together and actively pursue list of targeted Key Accounts, including new partners, and create individual plans of action to penetrate these accounts
  • Effectively and accurately manage personal revenue pipeline to maximize all new business opportunities
  • Navigate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders and initiatives within Key Accounts
  • Work with property-level sales teams as well as other departments to ensure customer satisfaction, share feedback, and customize collateral and sales positioning
  • Collaborate with other Cvent Sales Associates that represent other Cvent products to these accounts
  • You may be asked to travel to represent Cvent at major tradeshows and hotel sales conferences, host product seminars or attend client meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you will need in this role

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally with strong academic credentials
  • 3+ years of experience selling to and/or managing property and corporate accounts
  • Familiarity with a high outbound call volume and high talk time sales environment
  • Infectious passion about the benefits of technology and digital marketing
  • Strong analytical skills, experience with data analysis and proficiency in Microsoft excel
  • Must be able to integrate knowledge across disciplines to include relationship management, prospecting, consultative selling, product demonstrations, negotiating & closing contracts, operation/process flow and product function
  • Strong sense of initiative and personal leadership, demonstrating the ability to function independently, whilst also contributing to team initiatives
  • Flexibility, adaptability and agility
  • Articulate, organized and detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • A high degree of computer literacy and the ability to work with Salesforce.com and Microsoft office
