Fleet Maintenance Manager


EagleView | Operations | Rochester, NY

The Fleet Maintenance Manager will serve as a key member of the Flight Support & Fleet Maintenance team and will report directly to the Process Development Manager. The successful candidate will have as his/her core responsibility the management of fleet maintenance and aircraft part inventories and will have significant experience in record keeping, cost reporting procedures and budgeting.  The Fleet Maintenance Manager will work with vendors and EagleView staff to schedule aircraft and camera rig maintenance.  The Fleet Maintenance Manager will confirm all compliance items to maintain aircraft air worthiness and work with maintenance staff to ensure that the aircraft makes a timely return to service.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Track, evaluate and manage aircraft maintenance schedules & inventory control systems for aircraft
  • Confirm compliance of FAA log books and maintain aircraft registration and insurance
  • Plan and execute aircraft/part expenditures
  • Manage parts inventory and storage needs at remote facilities
  • Develop and maintain outside service vendor relationships
  • Coordinate with Flight Operations staff to minimize aircraft down-time
Skills & Requirements

  • Four-year degree, ideally with a concentration in Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Aviation or related topics or commensurate work experience
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt quickly Well-organized, dependable, self-sufficient
  • Strong communication and technical skills
  • Knowledge of Business Analytics, Imaging, Aviation, GIS, or Meteorology is desirable Advanced Microsoft Suite, Power BI, Confluence, Salesforce.com a plus
  • Familiarity with EagleView Software Suite a plus
