Senior Director, Business Applications

The Senior Director of Business Applications is responsible for the design, implementation and support of core business applications and processes that will enable operational efficiency, data accuracy, and accelerated business growth. The Senior Director will recruit, develop and manage a team of internal and external resources with ownership of PMO, cross-functional business processes, data governance, Salesforce administration, and NetSuite administration. The Senior Director will lead execution of transformation, acquisition and continuous improvement projects with impact across departments. The ideal candidate will have strong solutions, application, project management, process and business analysis experience and a general understanding of technical infrastructure. This is a hands-on opportunity scale a team and have direct impact on strategic initiatives, reporting directly to the Chief of Staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain standard practices and procedures for PMO, ensuring milestones, dependencies and task ownership are clearly understood, tracked and communicated in a consistent and effective manner, while incorporating effective change and risk management controls
  • Provide leadership through all project life cycle phases including user meetings, requirements gathering, development/configuration, testing, implementation go-live and support/maintenance
  • Define clear team objectives and metrics for success, aligned with the strategic objectives of the company, leading through direct and indirect supervision
  • Instruct and mentor the team across functional, technical and project management disciplines, taking a hands-on approach when needed and contributing to solutions that solve business problems
  • Develop positive and productive cross-functional relationships that includes leading facilitation of a change review board for prioritization and sequencing of system enhancements
  • Lead a culture of continuous improvement, focusing across people, process and tools
  • Ensure program operations and activities adhere to established internal guidelines and policies
  • Partner with and manage 3rd party vendors
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to support evolving business and capabilities requirements
  • Additional responsibilities as required



  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related discipline
  • 10+ years enterprise software experience, including 5+ years in complex ERP/CRM implementation and support
  • 5+ years progressive experience in director/managerial roles that include employee hiring, development, performance management, delegation, and motivation
  • Strong working knowledge of enterprise software company business functions
  • Significant experience with full life cycle implementation and ongoing system maintenance and support, including master data management and systems integration
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, agile and product roadmap techniques and methods
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and meeting facilitation skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated understanding of solution documentation
  • Excellent ability to organize and manage competing priorities with simultaneous projects/initiatives, achieving superior results with minimal oversight
  • Analytical mindset with great problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable to changing business needs, conditions and work responsibilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven, and team-oriented environment
