Agile Project Manager (APM)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

·Act as ScrumMaster for up to 4 scrum teams, focused on helping the teams perform at their highest levels. 

· Facilitate sprint/iteration planning, retrospective and sprint demos. 

· Assist the product owner with backlog grooming. 

· Reach out to the larger company network for impediment removal.

· Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing. 

· Actively contribute to the company’s agile culture.  

· Keep the rest of the company network aware of our activities. 

· Ardent team maturing skillset




· Four -year degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Qualifications 

· Fundamental knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Enterprise Agile

· Strong understanding and familiarity with Agile Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools

· Good understanding of Agile metrics and how to leverage them

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

· Zero to two years’ experience working in an agile environment 

· Familiar with the software development life cycle, specifically agile lifecycle management. 

· Must have participated in at least one Program Increment (PI) from planning to execution

Skills & Requirements



· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 

 · Strong problem solving skills

· Understand fundamentals of software development processes and procedures

· Understand the value of commitment to delivery made by development team

· Basic knowledge of software development processes and procedures to understand his team needs

· Familiarity with common Agile practices, estimating and planning, servant-leadership and better development practices

· Understand basics of iterative development

· VersionOne, SharePoint, Team Foundation Server, Visual Studio knowledge a plus 

Work Environment/Physical Demands 

· Office environment 

· Ability to use a computer, phone, and other office equipment 

·Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time 

· Ability to travel <5% of time

· Ability to carry up to 25 lbs. for PI Planning
