Business Development Representative

Numerator is looking for a highly motivated and articulate Business Development Representative to join our Australian Go To Market (GTM) team.

The Business Development Representative works closely with Sales Leadership in managing & following up on inbound lead activity, working with data and lead sourcing methods to identify potential new clients, executing email and telephone outreach campaigns to create awareness and generate new client opportunities, and position Numerator as preferred supplier to the marketplace. This role is critical to our lead generation initiatives and offers tremendous growth and career development potential.

Responsibilities:

- Partner with Sales, Client Management, and Marketing to execute effective marketing campaigns
- Research potential clients, identify key buying centers and players, and create target lists
- Learn our platforms and effectively communicate our value proposition (via phone, email, etc.) with a technical audience
- Balance the reactive work of responding to interested prospects with a creative and proactive approach to identify new opportunities
- Update prospect interaction in Salesforce to ensure efficient lead management
- Schedule telephonic, web, and in-person meetings between qualified prospects and our Sales Directors
- Consistently achieve scheduled meetings targets to support the achievement of revenue objectives
- Provide closed-loop feedback to Marketing and Sales teams to ensure continuous process optimization
- Nurture prospects that are not yet ready to engage in a sales cycle

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 1 year of “hunter” sales experience, ideally in B2B, SaaS, or Market Research industries (although not essential if you are hungry and looking to break into sales)
• Self-directed starter with a strong business acumen
• Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening and writing skills
• Experience in pre-call planning, opportunity qualification, and objection handling
• Ability to structure calls to control/drive a conversation
• Ability to work in a high-energy, performance-driven sales team environment
• Highest level of integrity demonstrated at all time
• Experience with business platforms G Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Hangouts, Drive, etc.) and/or Microsoft (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Experience with Salesforce and marketing automation a plus
