Training Specialist I

The training team consists of skilled trainers who work together to administer a holistic, blended training program to address the training needs of our clients and our employees. The training program incorporates an integrated training approach to account for different learning styles and system experience levels. The training team conducts instructor-led trainings in classroom settings and virtual sessions.  The training team also sometimes provides on-site support to facilitate client-specific workflows and ensure effective user adoption

 

Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Conduct product training sessions for internal and external end-users for at least two suite/platform combinations. Training delivery methods include the following:
    • Hands-on learning
    • On-site training at Mediaocean and client locations
    • Webinars
  • Work with Instructional Design team to develop training materials to support and supplement training efforts
    • Review instructional design content created by the ID team.
    • Review content for new application versions
    • Record videos as needed
  • Work with training team and Instructional Design team to curate training agendas
  • Perform required administrative tasks related to training system applications
  • Help develop, implement, and maintain training course structure, documentation, and delivery
  • Assisting in liaising with other teams on areas of mutual responsibility, such as the training calendar
  • Designing a curriculum or program that reflects an understanding of the diversity of learners and groups of learners and that is sensitive to client needs
  • Working directly with our clients to determine training needs and strategy
  • Maintaining dialogue with Product, BSC, and Support teams to ensure Training Team staff system knowledge is current and contextualized across products
  • Working with Product, BSC, and Support teams to identify training needs and priorities and ensuring the training team is kept abreast of relevant product and client activity
  • Conducting user trainings to ensure clients are confident and knowledgeable in our systems
Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Prior experience with agency system(s) or enterprise software preferred
  • Enthusiasm for public speaking and training, and the ability to present course material in a professional manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with mature, professional attitude and appearance
  • Strong needs analysis, leadership, and collaboration skills
  • Self-starter with a strong ability to interact positively with inter- and intra-organizational groups and outside customer contacts
  • Solid attention to detail and follow-through skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and upgrading of skills
