The Order Management Representative is responsible for creating and updating Vertafore Customer master information in conjunction with supporting Customer quote generation, as well as processing orders in Order Management, Service Contracts, and Subscriptions.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for providing sales quoting support and follow up to Vertafore Sales Teams
  • Responsible for timely processing of all Customer orders through the entire sales order lifecycle utilizing Salesforce.com, Oracle EBS Order Management, Service Contracts, and Subscriptions tools
  • Responsible for establishing new accounts in the Oracle Customer Master, and updating Customer account information as required
  •  Responsible for enforcing internal Order Entry process guidelines and Corporate control standards
  • Provides quality assurance and control checks by verifying  pricing and  compliance to contractual terms
  • Responsible for resolving quote/order issues with Sales, Professional Services, Finance & Accounting, and Legal
  • Completes other duties as appropriate and assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:


  • Excellent verbal, written, and phone communication skills
  • Strong MS Office skills. Intermediate level MS excel skills.
  • Expertise in ERP system utilization in an Order Management environment
  • Expertise in CRM system utilization in an Order Management environment
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proven attention to detail with a high level of accuracy when executing quoting and ordering duties
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job


Risk and Quality Management:


  • Ability to identify risk and quality discrepancies, and can provide resolution recommendations to Manager
  • Expert in Systems and Process knowledge

·      Order Management /Order Entry experience in a Software distribution environment preferred.

·      Data entry experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP, GreatPlains, etc.) preferred.

·       Data entry experience in a Customer Relationship Management system (i.e. Salesforce.com, MS Dynamics CRM, etc.) preferred.
