The Manager, Field Sales is a key member of the Americas Strategic Sales Team, responsible for driving revenue through the development and leadership of sales professionals.  This position is critical to assisting field AE’s with renewing existing customers, while generating growth sales leveraging the Whole Product Experience (WPE) from Jamf.  The role is also critical in further maturing current Alliance and partner relationships while maintaining region operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth within your region by achieving and exceeding sales objectives and quotas
  • Develop, implement, and monitor sales plans to align Account Executives with segment and department and corporate objectives
  • Motivate and manage Account Executives to drive pipeline development and close business through sales efforts
  • Coach and counsel direct reports on sales activities, skills, capabilities, and processes
  • Provide direct assistance with sales opportunities as needed
  • Measure weekly/monthly/quarterly/YTD progress against plans, objectives, and quotas, and provide course correction for success.
  • Hire and train new sales team members and help manage the internal learning management system to track progression of skillsets
  • Collaborate with sales management and external partners to coordinate and grow revenue within segment
  • Develop and execute strategies in conjunction with Sales Management, Product Marketing, Alliance/Channel team, and Demand Generation team to expand market penetration/broaden sales opportunities
  • Refine work flows and best practices to support continued growth of field sales organization

Skills & Requirements

  • 5 - 7 years sales experience showing successful achievement of quota (required)
  • 5 – 7 years growing and leading a field sales organization within the software industry (required)
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute short-term and long-term sales strategy (Preferred)
  • Industry standard sales methodology understanding such as Force Mgmt, Solution Selling or VVS (preferred)
  • Experience in the area of legal and contract negotiations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with co-workers in a results driven culture
  • Self-starter, energetic multi-tasker, highly motivated and team player
  • Good listening skills
  • Ability to engage with and establish trust and rapport with all levels of customers and employees
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Teamwork and good communication skills a must
  • Ability to recruit and grow talent

        

Location:  Remote; PA, MD, DC, NJ, NY, MA

Travel: up to 50%

Education: 4 year Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
