Wrike: Powering Remote Productivity

Transitioning from the office to remote work requires significant planning and preparation – but few businesses had the opportunity to prepare for ongoing work-from-home mandates that resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic. Even companies with experience working across virtual teams face new challenges as employees share their workspaces with spouses or children home from school.

In response to the en masse shift to working from home, Wrike offered new customers a free six-month subscription of its Professional Edition software to help companies maintain productivity and effective collaboration. Wrike is also enabling its 19,000 existing users to add an unlimited number of team member collaborators to their virtual workspaces at no cost until their contract renewal.

In the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Company also launched Wrike Relief. This new program offers Wrike’s work management software at no cost to non-governmental organizations and relief organizations in the aftermath of regional or global disasters. Through this program, the Company hopes it can help these organizations accelerate their efforts in disaster response.

Wrike developed a free comprehensive business continuity template to help executives manage through the evolving business landscape. The template offers insights into projects at risk due to employee illness or time out of the office, allowing managers to mitigate those risks. Wrike also developed a remote work template to help streamline virtual offices with dashboards, Gantt charts, meeting agendas, and more.  Additionally, they introduced Coffee with Wrike, a weekly webinar series in which the Company’s experts discussed actionable best practices to help teams embrace and overcome the challenges of remote work.
