Our People Experience (PX) team leads PowerSchool’s human-resources function, equipping and encouraging PowerSchoolers to reach their potential while driving business results. The PX team manages the organization’s global workforce infrastructure; supports the overall employee experience; and attracts, develops, and retains talent.
Responsibilities
Description
The Global Mobility team manages flights, travel, accommodations, assistance with visas and immigration, insurances, and contractor care. They ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations in both home and host countries.
Your day-to-day job will consist of:
- Develop and manage global mobility policies and processes to support international assignments, transfers, and business travel.
- Oversee end-to-end immigration processes, including work permits, visas, permanent residency applications, and compliance with local labor laws.
- Partner with external immigration providers and legal counsel to stay up to date on global immigration regulations and requirements.
- Provide advisory support to employees and HR teams on visa and immigration matters, ensuring a smooth relocation experience.
- Manage vendor relationships with relocation service providers, and immigration specialists.
- Ensure compliance with country-specific tax, social security, and employment laws related to international assignments.
- Track and report key mobility metrics, costs, and compliance risks, ensuring data accuracy and process optimization.
- Lead mobility-related projects, including policy updates, system implementations, and program enhancements.
- Educate internal stakeholders on immigration trends, compliance risks, and best practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in global mobility, immigration, or expatriate management.
- Strong knowledge of global immigration laws, visa processes, and relocation best practices.
- Experience working with external immigration providers, tax consultants, and legal teams.
- Able to work from US West Coast Hours (2pm PST to 11pm PST)

- Exceptional project management and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and educate diverse teams.
- Proficiency in HR systems and mobility tracking tools is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
