Job Summary

PowerSchool® is the SIS leader, serving as the hub of educational ecosystems for over 40 million users. PowerSchool’s products allow stakeholders to manage school processes and data, manage and monitor the special education process, and provides registration module for K-12 organizations. PowerSchool embraces a secure, open architecture and provides an extensive set of APIs that customers control to enable their schools to have the industry’s best integrations. 

Responsibilities

• 4 Year degree in Engineering like BE or B-Tech or 3 years Master in computer application (MCA). 
• 5+ years of experience in Software industry

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SQL and PL/SQL.  
• Experience working with Database like Oracle preferably or other RDBMS.  
• Good Experience in client-side JavaScript or Typescript and related framework and libraries such as Angular and Jquery. 
• Experience using tools as SQL Developer, Perforce, Jira and Git. 
• Problem solving and debugging skills 
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC)  
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum Teams. 
• Ability to guide and mentor junior team members. 
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills  
• Desire to learn, grow, and improve 
• A passion and natural curiosity for technology  
• Good to have experience in Object oriented programming in Java or Typescript. 
• Good to have knowledge of Spring MVC, Hibernate, Webservices
