Team Overview

Our Sales team serves the critical role of getting our products into the hands of our customers. This talented team works hard to build and maintain relationships with our clients, as well as looks for new business opportunities to expand our reach.

The Business Development team is a talented and passionate mix of professionals with diverse backgrounds who took the leap to start their career in the software/tech sales space. 

Responsibilities

Description

This opportunity is perfectly tailored for someone with little to no experience in a Sales capacity looking to grow and develop their career in tech/SaaS sales. There is a lot of opportunity in the position and more opportunity within the company for the right individual looking to develop a career path aligned with SaaS sales. 

 

A Business Development Representative identifies potential clients, generates leads, and qualifies prospects. They collaborate with the Sales team, track progress, and set appointments to achieve sales goals.

Your day-to-day job will consist of:

  • Sourcing prospects and generating leads via cold-call
  • Working directly with our Inside and/or Enterprise Sales teams to pass along qualified opportunities
  • Developing a strong understanding of our prospects and learning solution-selling techniques
  • Proactively engaging and prospecting new business opportunities and customers: approximately 50-60 outbound calls and 20-30 emails per day
  • Consistently meet and/or exceed metrics as defined by the Sales Leadership Team

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant and related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Growth mindset
  • Comfortable with outbound sales calls

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interested in learning and developing in SaaS sales role
  • Motivated and ambitious personality
