Our Information Technology (IT) team leads all aspects of IT systems and processes across the enterprise, including data services, security, compliance, applications, automation, and end-user services. Through innovative and streamlined technology solutions, this dynamic team enables company growth​, protects data, and serves as a critical partner to all departments of PowerSchool.

Responsibilities

Description

Enterprise Infrastructure is responsible for supporting all hardware and software systems. They also provide technical guidance to IT and non-IT staff to ensure that all infrastructure systems meet the company's current and future needs, as well as troubleshoot system and network issues.

Your day-to-day job will consist of:

 

• Configure, manage, and support AWS services including EC2 instances, S3 storage, VPCs, subnets, security
groups, and Transit Gateways.
• Configure, manage, and support Microsoft Azure resources such as Virtual Machines, storage accounts,
virtual networks, and network security groups. Includes setup and maintenance of VNets, subnets, NSGs,
route tables, Application Gateways, and Azure Firewall.
• Establish, configure, and maintain IPSec VPN tunnels between cloud platforms and on-premises
infrastructure to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
• Manage and troubleshoot Cloudflare DNS for external name resolution and support internal DNS
infrastructure.
• Administer and maintain VMware and Hyper-V environments, including provisioning, performance tuning,
patch management, and snapshot handling.
• Monitor system and infrastructure health using tools like LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, and native cloud
monitoring solutions to ensure high availability and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve system and infrastructure issues impacting performance, uptime, or connectivity
across virtual and cloud environments.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, assist with capacity planning, and maintain thorough documentation
of infrastructure and configuration changes.
• Collaborate with security and networking teams to ensure all infrastructure adheres to organizational
policies, compliance standards, and security best practices.
• Maintain operational health of enterprise-managed infrastructure hardware, ensuring minimal downtime
and quick incident response.
• Create and maintain infrastructure diagrams, runbooks, and other supporting documentation to aid in
system understanding and incident response.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Engineering or related field preferred
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or equivalent
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure management (AWS and/or Azure).
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, firewalls, security groups, DNS, VPNs).
• Experience with Cloudflare DNS, internal DNS management, and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in managing virtualization platforms: VMware vSphere and Microsoft

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• VMWare certifications is a plus
• Experience deploying and managing IT ITIL and security technologies
• Networking and network products knowledge (switches, routers, firewalls) to assist with the Network
