Graduate Projects Administrator

We are seeking a passionate graduate projects administrator to join Advanced’s professional services team in the IT services division.

The Role

As a graduate project administrator, you’ll meet the financial and utilisation targets of the Professional Services team, by assisting in the administration and coordination of small -projects from initial quotation to delivery.

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating delivery resources for Small Projects
  • Monitoring the overall progress of simple Small Projects, escalating issues and suggesting corrective action as appropriate.
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive delivery documentation in the customer SharePoint library
  • Updating the management systems used to manage Small Projects, and monitor team performance
  • Assisting in the generation of performance statistics for the Small Projects team
  • Where applicable, coordinating (with the input of specialist teams) the completion of responses to enquiries for chargeable Small Projects to the required timescales

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • A process-driven approach, with an analytical and logical approach to tasks and needs
  • Proven customer facing skills
  • Ability to plan work to moving time-scales
  • Enthusiasm and a desire to deliver
  • Highly organised
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of standard MS office applications (particularly Excel)
  • Ability to multi-task

Desirables:

  • Exposure to working in an IT Managed Services environment
  • Some knowledge of statistical analysis/reporting
  • Prince 2 foundation
