Account Manager (Media Planning)

What You Will Do:

As the EMEA Business Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our customers and building a team to support our business in the region.  You will be actively involved throughout the lifecycle of our product delivery starting with requirements definition, continuing to the management of the site build, and providing support once the customer is live.


  • Manage Mediaocean's existing accounts in EMEA
  • Meet with customers to define their needs and then manage the delivery
  • Develop strategic relations with senior and other levels within customer base to become a trusted and valued business partner
  • Help with customer support
  • Manage introductory product training to potential customers and new clients
  • Scope Management: review requests and compare to the original project scope. For enhancements which are not already covered, create an SOW outling project scopem estimated timing, and associated costs
  • Keep consistent communication with our internal team to ensure work is delivered on time
  • Develop a comprehensive rollout plan covering documentation, user registration, content loading, and end-user training
  • Arrange and conduct product training and demonstration
  • Proactively help with pre-sales team with informing customers about company software solutions
Skills & Requirements

Who You Are:

  • Experience in a client-facing, account management role
  • Extensive experience with Media and/or Adtech
  • Proven successful track record of continuously over achieving sales quota
  • Strong listening and persuasion skills with an excellent customer focus.  Listen to customer requirements and can translate that into next steps and new products for the internal team
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to problems solve (apply logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems)
  • A self-starter who can effectively work independently with little or no supervision
  • Ability to manage priorities effectively and be accountable for her/his decisions
