As part of TIBCO’s Cloud First initiative, we are investing in people, processes and technology to build and run enterprise Software as a Service. Join the Cloud Infrastructure Engineering & Operations team, part of the Product and Technology organization, and help us develop and operate industry-leading cloud products.

In this position, you will be part of a large, growing Operations team responsible for one or more of TIBCO’s enterprise cloud services. The Cloud Ops Engineer (COE) is responsible for the availability, automation, performance, efficiency, scaling, monitoring, and emergency response of TIBCO’s cloud operating system.  

The COE uses their understanding of TIBCO’s platform, architecture, people, systems, and processes to continuously improve uptime, performance, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Skills & Requirements

  • As a Cloud Service Automation Engineer you will work for the QA team in a team environment that is primarily focused on enabling our Cloud Intelligence platform. In this role, you will be involved with prototyping solutions, continuous delivery, scripting & automation. This is a unique opportunity for working with Architects in Development, QA, and Cloud Operations teams.
  • Help create, scale and maintain test automation strategies and actual implementations for highly trafficked web applications in Selenium/WebDriver and Java/Python
  • Contribute to the maintenance and expansion of our Continuous Integration (CI) environment
  • Design test beds, identify necessary equipment, create topology maps, and estimate test efforts
  • Troubleshoot failures on local machines and analyze results
  • Maintain automation framework and debug any issues in the automation test regression
  • Work closely with developers to debug and reproduce software defects
  • Understand new GUI testing frameworks and add/enhance more testing
