Analyst, Post Merger Integration

Cvent’s high growth is supported by strategic acquisitions. This exciting new role is designed to focus on post-merger integration activities between acquired companies and Cvent. Within the Strategic Projects & PMO group, we are building a dedicated Integration Management Office (IMO) to support all post-merger integration functions.

The analyst will partner with the IMO team and Business owners to integrate business operations, monitor and analyze post acquisitions results with respect to all business functions, and help to continue to build mature Cvent’s integration playbook.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Drive integration related projects and activities
  • Assist in managing the IMOs strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with functional workstream leads to create and maintain integration checklists and activities across all deals
  • Continually refine best practices for integration lifecycle framework
  • Support change management/ communications activities across the business
  • Help to develop, track and report on integration KPIs and deal metrics
  • Provide data analytical support to help the business make informed decisions
  • Plan, coordinate and execute integration strategies for newly acquired entities
  • Assist in the development and presentation of final project deliverables

What You Need For This Position

  • 2-4 years of professional experience; strongly prefer candidates with post merger/ acquisition operational experience
  • BS/BA, preferably in a Business or Technology discipline
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to drive the execution of multiple workstreams and deliverables for all cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience in working with the deal team to transition diligence into integration phase.
  • Experience managing and working with global virtual teams
  • Experience working in high growth / SaaS environment
  • Be confident in working directly with Executives
  • Effective communication (i.e., written, verbal and presentation) and experience delivering executive presentations (we will ask candidates to share examples)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products; advanced knowledge of Powerpoint & Excel is a key differentiator (if you reference your expertise in your resume, we will ask you for examples)
  • Experience managing projects and/or familiar with project management concepts; experience with project management software a plus
