Our UK Development team works closely with our Development Centres of Excellence in Bangalore and Baroda, who play a vital role together driving our feature development and product innovation. Working across our varied software products, our teams gain unique exposure within a challenging environment, are given full autonomy, working on the latest technologies.
As a SharePoint developer, you will deliver quality solutions through the technical implementation and deliver of a solution. The ideal candidate must have the ability to combine their technical skills, creativity and customer focus to deliver great solutions to the customer and ensure they align to the solution requirements and design. The position requires technical expertise and knowledge of the technology in which the solution is being delivered.
What you will be doing
o Engage with users to analyse and provide technical solutions
o Develop and implement a variety of On Premise SharePoint 2013 / SharePoint Online solutions
o Support existing and new SharePoint sites including front end administration
o Train users on using solutions developed
o Work as both an individual contributor and team member on projects
o Work with Bootstrap framework, REST API and various languages to match each solution to the current Advanced UI
What you will be good at
o Good knowledge of developing in C#, ASP.NET and using Visual Studio
o Basic knowledge in using Bootstrap for the responsive design
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
o Working with SharePoint's features (workflows, forms, content types etc)
o Working with Agile / Scrum methodologies
o Experience with creation and modification of master pages & layout pages, web parts and other components
What we would like you to have
o Good understanding of migration of On Premise to Online
o Experience of using SharePoint Designer
o Experience in Powershell for all basic tasks of SharePoint
