Sales Operations Analyst


Omnitracs | Sales Operations | Dallas, TX


The Sales Operations Analyst will work with key sales and marketing stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in the custom implementation of Salesforce.com within the organization and will be responsible for communicating new business requirements to our Salesforce.com IT staff. This position will be instrumental in supporting and enabling the Sales team’s overall operational effectiveness and success.


  • Create and manage reports, forecasts, metrics and dashboards for sales representatives and management
  • Actively monitor, analyze, and report on the sales pipeline
  • Manage overall data quality and integrity in Salesforce.com
  • Identify improvements in Salesforce.com implementation
  • Assist and drive system definition and requirements including collaboration with internal resources, Salesforce.com IT and third party developers
  • Collaborate with marketing team to help drive demand creation campaigns
  • Monitor and assist with direct and indirect sales channel rules of engagement

Skills & Requirements


  • EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Statistics or Physics preferred
  • EXPERIENCE:1 year hands-on experience with Salesforce.com; development experience a plus



  • Working knowledge and expertise in Salesforce.com lead/contact/account de-duping
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com integration to Marketing Automation Platforms such as Marketo and Eloqua
  • Expertise in CRMfusion DemandTools and PeopleImport
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability and desire to partner across departments with all levels of management to ensure effective implementation of time-sensitive initiatives
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
  • Experience with VBA and SQL is a plus
